HTC and Sprint have made the Android 2.0 powered HTC Hero cellphone official already.And currently,we have learned that the device is going to run Android 2.1 OS.And both Sprint and HTC has promised a update.

The market has no word on when the Android 2.1 OS update will be available,however,we still have this image in the post,from which we can sell a HTC HERO runs on Android 2.0 smartphone.Does that mean users can skip the Android 2.0 OS directly to Android 2.1 OS?

Anyway,we still believe that the turn-by-turn GPS as well as other features will come to the Android 2.1 HTC Hero smartphone.
