04 May 11 BlackBerry Smartphones Will Get Bing as Default Search Engine

There are many different tablets that get talked about on a regular basis running all sorts of different platforms. However, under the hype surrounding any of these given platforms they are largely the same despite featuring varying hardware specs. Tablets may be getting a ton of buzz but there is always going to be a lot of focus on smartphones from the various hardware manufacturers. Of course there is always going to be buzz regarding the iPhone and just about anything powered by Google’s Android but as of late Research in Motion with their line up of BlackBerry smartphones have been in the spot light as well.

Much of this buzz has come that bbecause of the fact that RIM came forth not too long ago to announce BlackBerry OS 7 –the latest iteration of their popular mobile platform. While we know quite a bit about the platform news is still coming out according to what the platform has to offer. Those who oppose Microsoft’s Bing search engine may want to look away.  The waords above I said is due to that I was just made known today that Bing will be the default browser for future BlackBerry smartphones.

Of course, that’s not to say you can’t change which browser you use by default but it’s definitely something to make note of.
