T-Mobile G2 Gets Official Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3 OS

There are many different smartphones that get talked about on a regular basis running all sorts of different platforms. However, under the hype surrounding any of these given platforms they are largely the same despite featuring varying hardware specs. There are smartphones from the various hardware manufacturers. Of course there is always going to be buzz regarding the iPhone and just about anything powered by Google’s Android but as of late Research in Motion with their line up of T-Mobile G2 smartphones has been in the spot light as well. Of course, it is equipped with a lot of excellent features. In case you do not know about its details, we will introduce it to you in the following article

At various points around the year different hardware manufacturers come forth to release updates for their Android powered smartphones. Depending on who you ask, these updates may not be released in the most timely fashion but as of late hardware manufacturers have been looking to catch up the pace.

One route you can take is to grab an unofficial Android build for any given smart phone which tends to be released not long after said smart phone is. Or, on the other hand, you can cross your fingers and hope an official build leaks straight from the manufacturer themselves. If you’re a T-Mobile G2 owner hoping for this you’re in luck as today it was made known that the phone’s official Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3 ROM has leaked.

From the looks of it this ROM is the final, stable build but seeing how it wasn’t released by T-Mobile or HTC you’re going to have to proceed at your own risk. Got it?
