Android ‘Honeycomb’ 3.1 to Come ASUS Eee Pad Transformer this June

Ever since its debut back in 2008, Google’s Android has grown to be one of the most popular mobile platforms in the world. However, up to now, not so many manufacturers adopted the platform for tablets,android OS is primarily for smartphones. Google looks to change all of this with the introduction of Android ‘Honeycomb’ 3.0 which already powers critically acclaimed devices like the Motorola XOOM and ASUS Eee Pad Transformer.
Now the Eee Pad transformer had briefly gone up for sale before selling out marking as one of the cheapest Android Honeycomb powered tablets on the market.Now I will introduce the tablet for you if you are looking for something with skimping on the specs.Surely, it has a lot of excellent features.
Just about every day we tell you about a new tablet to hit the market. However, this is a bad thing for those looking for something like a netbook as it seems that we haven’t heard much out of the netbook sector for quite some time.
Luckily, Amazon has just put the ASUS Eee PC 1015PX on sale with a starting price tag of $320. This netbook comes with a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor clocked at 1.66GHz, 250GB of internal storage, up to 2GB of DDR3 RAM, VGA webcam, Bluetooth 3.0 and either a 10 or 11 hour battery life.
It is already available with a suitable price now. So for the people who want a new notebook, just follow the news and get it from Amazon.
Well, while Honeycomb 3.1 has already made its way to the XOOM owners, other tablets owners are wondering when they too will get some thing. Luckily, it’s just been announced today that the Android ‘Honeycomb’ 3.1 update will be coming to both the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer and Acer Iconia Tab A500 at some point next month. Unfortunately we don’t have a more solid release date just yet but we’ll keep you posted as information is made available.
