Sony Erricson Xperia X10 Comes with Gingerbread 2.1

Sony is a famous manufactor of Japan. It is one of the best manufactors of devices suach as mobilephones, Tv sets, music players, cameras and so on. Sony Errison has released a series of great phones recently. And after the release of these smartphones named the Xperia Play and Xperia Arc.

For those not familiar with the devices only need to know that the Xperia Play caters to the gaming crowd by featuring a slide-out gamepad while the Xperia Arc is largely similar to traditional mid-to-high end smartphones. Now, I will introduce the new smartphone named Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.Of course, it is equipped with a lot of excellent features. In case you do not know about its details, we will introduce it to you in the following article.

As far as I know, In the Android world an ongoing problem is the fact that it takes quite some time for hardware manufacturers to get the latest updates pushed to their devices. Luckily as of late just about everyone is doing what they can to ease the pain and get the most up to date versions of Android as possible to their devices. However, in some extreme cases smartphones lag so far behind that they are quickly being pushed into obsolescence due simply to their delayed update schedule.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 was already being offered by AT&T. We’ve heard in the past that this device wouldn’t get any more hardware updates but luckily that is not the case. Just today it was made official that the Xperia X10 has finally gotten updated to Android 2.1. Of course, it’s not the best case scenario as the latest version of Android is ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3 but it’s certainly better than nothing.
