Recently, there is a piece of big news about the blackberry 3G. As far as I know, thanks to their popular line up of BlackBerry phone, the Research in Motion has secured a large number of the handset market.
However, from both iOS and Android, there are a lot of tough competitions, so if they are looking to keep up with the market, they have to make great efforts to push towards getting even more new hardware on the scene to satisfy the demands.
Via T-Mobile’s Facebook page, I got the news that T-Mobile would be getting the BlackBerry 3G on September 8th. As the reported said that the price would be for $79.99 with a 2-year contract. However, this device is equipped with the BlackBerry 5 OS, but not the newer BlackBerry 6.
More specially, it includes GPS, WiFi, 3G, as well as a 2 megapixel camera. There is nothing more about it, but it is just priced at only 80 bucks.

It has been reported that BlackBerry App World 2.0 just out of beta last week, in company with it BlackBerry App came paid apps for Australia. You have several payment options, such as the original PayPal option, and you can also pay it with the new credit card billing. It doesn’t like other carrier partners just yet pay for wireless billing.
Actually, Australia only got App World in December; this is the only free app. Of course, there’s localization work to be done, but you would know that it wouldn’t take that long with a common language. The change from free-only to paid apps is a transition that all the on-device software markets must make another point in any other given country. In addition, the RIM has to do lot market assessments to make out which countries from a paid App World would benefit the most.
If you are Aussies, and want to download it, go to RIM’s landing page.

After Blackberry released their Blackberry OS 6, recent days they’ll continued to present their new update App World 2.0. Although it is under testing, some of its exposed aspects still worth our focusing. One of its improvements is low price. As we all know that before App World 2.0, Blackberry always sets limits on its software, so it’s hard for developer to set price for their products, which is one possible reason for its bad sales. But Blackberry has lifted its control on price, so developer is able to set price as their will. According to the reports, its price will be between 0.9 dollars to 1.99 dollars.
Another improvement is that App World 2.0 has changed its payment method. Now App World 2.0 supports Credit payment and telephone bills. Which is better than the old monotonous payment. Since there are lots of difference, so I will list some more aspects below:
1. App World 2.0 supports OS 4.5, 4.4 and occupies less RAM than App world 1.1
2. Capable to switch from Category and Software in Top App Listing area, and the system will record your last login.
3. Advanced aspect of My World, including the information you store in your cell phone or SD card.
4. Add Recently Updated, New, Top Free, Top Paid, and Themes to your top menu that you can get the latest information.

August 12th, RIM released it latest Blackberry series Blackberry Torch 9800 in US market. As the first slide-out model of Blackberry and the first adopting Blackberry 6 operating system model, Black Torch has the most powerful configuration than other Blackberry devices. If features a 3.2 inch LCD touch screen with 480×360 of resolution, with a full QWERTY keyboard. Also its 5 million pixel camera is superior to other same class cell phones. Blackberry 6 operating system is no worse than Android system and IOS. So RIM showed great confidence to defeat iPhone 4 at the beginning. And they set the price at 199 dollars with contract with the manufactures.
However, since one week has past, only 15000 cell phones was sold out according to the statistics. Maybe RIM has noticed that the sales is not good as they expected. The only solution is through reducing price to attract more customers. This week RIM reduced the price from 199.99 dollars to 99.99 dollars on Amazon.com. But the price on AT&T is still remain the same.
It’s quite a good news for Blackberry lovers. Considering the low price, I strongly suggest you to own one. The Blackberry 6 system is amazing and the general capacity is good too.
