Palm Pre 2 on Verizon Gets webOS 2.1 Update

If you’ve been paying attention to the latest news about various kinds of high-tech products, you’ll probably know that Palm no longer exists.It has been pushed out by HP last year. You’ll probably also know that Palm has two different smartphones currently on the market dubbed the Pre and Pre 2.

Now that HP has taken the reigns it doesn’t mean that both of these smartphones will completely lose their margin and finally die as they will still gain great support from the popular tech company.

In fact, it was just made known today that the Palm Pre 2 found on Verizon Wireless has received the webOS 2.1 update. What’s more,this update was already available among the public through unofficial means to those who were capable of performing such an update but this more official update is now out for all who own the phone.

As is known to all,there are not many groundbreaking features found in this update but there are enough changes to warrant some interest. First of all, webOS 2.1 brings with it the ability to turn a Pre 2 into things like a digital picture frame, clock or to-do list while docked – a feature dubbed Exhibition. Other than that Bluetooth keyboard support was added along with voice dial and a whole slew of bug fixes ranging from security to email.

Whirlpool Forums might not be popular among the international market and the majority of us international readers are not familiar with it.

However,they have got a strong user community down here in Australia. Google Wallet: New Online Payment System

Google is an absolute leader of a company with many different products looking to make your life that much easier. As we all know, they have their search engine, Android, Gmail and more. Today I will introduce one product that is sure to cause some interest of you: Google Wallet. Of course, it is equipped with a lot of excellent features. In case you do not know about its details, we will introduce it to you in the following article.

Google Wallet is a telecommunications service by Google launched recently. In another successful effort by Google to get a hand in just about everything, the company unveiled Google Wallet.

Google Wallet is an Android App that will be available free of charge, and it will allow the users to make payments for services and/or products. No credit card or cash is required. Is it very convenient?

As far as I know, big companies known as MasterCard, Citi, First Data, and Sprint have joined it. Assuming that people get on board with it, there will no doubt be discounts, deals, promotions, and loyalty rewards galore then people will be saving some money as they spend a lot more money.

If you are looking forward to the free Google Wallet app, then you will have to wait until sometime this summer, but I’m not certain exactly when. I’m guessing that you will need to have your credit cards ready, and I’m sure they will be ready for this.
