We have good message for India, the company now release its first dual powered cell phone with any kinds of AAA batteries, the machine is codenamed as Olive FrvrOn V-G2300 cell phone, if you want to take a look at the device, you can see the image above.
I have no ides, why the AAA batteries supported cell phone is developed, however, the device does support rechargeable Li-ion battery, so if you do not want to buy AAA battery with you device, you can charge the Li-ion battery.I have no idea whether Indians will like the Olive FrvrOn V-G2300 cell phone, in the place where I live, people like to use small and light battery with their cell phones.I do not think that other manufacturer will follow this Indian product, and the AAA battery should not be a new standard in the industry.
The good thing of the device is that, the cell phone will cost only $37.

According to a recent report from RIM, the company is going to discontinue three blackberry phones, they are the original Storm blackberry phone, the Curve 8330 blackberry phone, and the Pearl Flip blackberry phone.
We have no idea why RIM discontinues these three phones, however, as what have been reported that the blackberry storm phone is fastened upon with problems, because of the bad hardware and firmware bugs. The RIM has replaced the blackberry storm with blackberry storm 2 cell phone. The Curve is discontinued probably because the same reason as the storm while the Pearl is discontinued for the flip design, it seems that people do not want to buy a flip version blackberry phone.
Anyway, the RIM prepares to launch up to twelve new cell phones this year, and let’s say goodbye to the Pearly Flip,Curve 8330 and Storm and welcome all the possible new guys.

The N97 is one of the most advanced smartphone from Nokia, however due to the high price, the later released the N97 Mini phone for people who can not afford the N97 smartphone.General speaking, the N97 Mini is much cheaper than the N97 itself, but not for this one.The Nokia has recently launched a luxury version of N97 mini cell phone, the gold edition N97 mini, which comes with a 18 karat pure gold shell and will be retailed at a price of $850.
The company pre-installs some great apps to the gold edition N97 mini smartphone, such as the ELLE 360 Fashion app, which is able to bring buyers the best fashion trends and news.
Besides, the luxury version will have other same features like standard N97 mini smartphone. It offers buyer a 5.0 megapixel camera,a full QWERTY keyboard,a 3.2 inches touchscreen display as well as 8GB internal memory.
It is not the first time for us to report such a news, back to last year, we have let you know the drop of blackberries by Rogers, and now, again,we notice that Verizon is going to drop the blackberry storm cellphone, the absence will be filled with some other new cell phones.Although Verizon did not give us any official announcements right now, if the rumor is true, the big loser will be RIM,because Verizon is one of the biggest retailers of blackberry storm phones.
The rumor is probably valid, because the blackberry storm is one of the biggest trouble cellphone with sad returns. If you were Verizon what will you do?If the Verizon really dropps the blackberry storm phone and go with other smartphones, personally,I am full understand them.So do not be surprised if you heard anything on that.

The year 2009 is over,it is a year we see the damages of international economic crisis. For the mobile industry, the crisis showed us its great power of effecting market.
A recently report from Gartner, Inc. shows that the total sales volumes of cell phones last year reached 1.211 billion units.Comparing to the sales volumes in 2008,the achievement in 2009 is not good at all,in fact, last year is even worse then 2008,as there is a 0.9% decline.
But there is a hope in 2009,the performance of the market in last quarter 2009 is quite good.Comparing to the same time in 2008,there is an 8.3% increase.
In summary,Gartner,Inc. comments:
“Apple and RIM(Research in Motion) were doing quite good last year, they successfully win over market share from other top phone manufacturers, Apple controled up to 14.4% market share while the RIM owned 19.9% market share of worldwide phone market last year.”

We can not see whether it is the right time for manufacturers to do a change on the cell phone battery cover. But such modifications should be encouraged right? For us,we would like to report a change of cellphone battery cover from HTC.
We are quite familiar with the route of taking off battery if we want to get the SIM card or SD card at some points. But if you buy the HTC Devour or the HTC Legend cellphone. You will see the differences.
The two cell phones has a special / new mechanism for slot-loading, like SD, battery,SIM etc.Not sure, whether the new mechanism will be an industry standard in the future, but we always need new ideas for normal things.

Apart from Nokia, Apple,Motorola,HTC, LG, Samsung, there are many other cell phone manufacturers in the industry. For some of them, I believe that you never heard their names. The Sonim Technology, a cell phone manufacturer, has officially announced a new cell phone with the name of Sonim X2 Spirit.Thank you for the support from Gorilla Glass, the X2 Spirit cell phone features a resistant screen, and this makes the phone very suitable for workers.
It would be my mistake,if we do not talk about the inside feature of this phone. The X2 Spirit runs BREW version 3.1.5 operative system, as well as a Qualcomm MSM 6280. In terms of other features, the device includes a MicroSD memory cards slot which supports up to 8GB storage,a 3.0 mp camera, 40MB internal memory, as well as a tri-band phone.
The X2 Spirit will be firstly launched in Europe at some point next month, but we have no word on the price right now.
I agreed that the future cell phones will be more resistant and robust to damage. And they can be taken around, and if you bring the phone on a go, your might lost phone, in that case, the future cell phones, should also be able to survive during that bad situation. And if you are looking for such a phone, then you may need to consider the Samsung Convoy.
The Convoy is a flip cell phone with VCAST and VZ Navigator, a phone book which can store up to a thousand number and name entries ( Even places for notes about person, street address, and email addresses.) 90 megs of memory, Bluetooth connectivity, notepad, world clock, stopwatch, alarm clock, speakerphone, a calendar, a calculator, GPS, a 2.0 megapixel camera, a battery which can last up to four hours of talking time, many games, and a microSD cards.
Besides, the Samsung Convoy is much like the Motorola Barrage, which offers protection against something which is called “salt fog”, temperature variants, shock, dust and humidity.
Anyway, the Convoy cell phone looks like a kind of sturdy cell phone which is more sturdy then other usual devices. However, the device is lack of great features, the phone even do not have FM radio. All in all, the device is a good cell phone, but basic one.
