Cricket recently released an announcement that they started to sell a text-centric cell phone called Cricket MSGM8 II, working under CDMA 2000 lx. It is made in China by ZTE Corporation, which is one of the reasons why it’s so inexpensive.
As you can seen from the picture, the new Criket MSGM8 II features with a large QWERTY keyboard but a very small LCD display. The screen provides you a resolution of 176×220 pixel, which is no more good than any other series. It also has a 130 million pixel camera, supporting Blue tooth, Mini SD card port and video recording. It works very well for those youth who favors social site scanning and message texting. But I don’t think it’s suitable for others. I can’t stand the small screen and the music player is awesome. One more addition, its 900mAh battery is good, which can last up to 5 hours talking time and 250 hrs standby time.
The current price for owning it is 80 dollars. But you can get a discount price of 60 dollars if you buy it on Web. Also I’ve heard that Cricket released its first Android handset and I am looking forward to that piece. I will give you the latest data if I get the information, folks.
