It is very important for the writer to get payment for their books, however, with the develop of new technology, people can read text books with their ebook readers, such as the Nook,iPad as well as many other on the market.
It should be right for the normal text books to be digitized. And some reports show that some of the major text book publishers like Houghton Mifflin Harcourt K-12,Pearson,Kaplan,and McGraw-Hill have officially signed on with the ScrollMotion Inc. to get their books digitized. This will make more text books be digitized and read via more devices, like the Apple iPad, Nook etc.
The prices of the digitized books may not cut down very much, however, it is a great idea to have an iPad, Nook or Kindle, instead of the heavy books when you are on a go.
