Yesterday, we have introduced for you about a tablet from Hanvon. With a 10.1 inch size screen display, it gains many eyes and attraction. Today another version from Hanvon will soon bring a fashion. With its codename of Hanvon E800, it is available as one of the e-readers in the hundreds of woodwork appearance ones.

As for its features, Hanvon E800 boasts an 8-inch touchscreen display providing a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. What is more, there is CPU available supporing an ARM Cortex A-8 processor. We also get the capacity storage, these are, a RAM card with 128MB as well as a 512 MB ROM card. What is more, Hanvon E800 runs with Windows CE OS. Other features include WiFi, a mini-USB port, dual-channel speakers, a 3.5mm headset jack and a card reader.

We have reported some nice machines from PocketBook here early before.And if you are a fan of PocketBook, I just have nice message for you guys.And I am pretty sure that you will not refuse my post.According to some reports, the PocketBook is going to release five new e book readers during IFA this September.

For now, I do have some message about the models of the five new machines, there are a pair of premium units, which are known as the e book reader 903 and e book reader 603.And also two entry-levels units, which are known as the e book reader 902 and e book reader 602.All these machines have some very commonly features, there are a Wacom touchscreen,  supports for 3G connectivity, supports for bluetooth and Wifi connectivity, runs on Linux based OS, as well as a 2GB internal storage.

There is a big difference between the 600 series and the 900 series, the 600 series have a 6 inches screen while the 900 series have a nine inches screen.

We just reported four e book readers above, and the last one is titled with the name of “entertainment model”, the real codename is Pocketbook IQ, the PocketBook IQ runs on Android 2.0 OS, supports for bluetooth and Wifi connectivities, as well as a 7 inches TFT color touchscreen. It has three case color options, however, for now, we do not know what are the real colors they are.

I just can not help waiting for the IFA.

Tracing back to June, Pandigital release a new e-Book reader Pandigital Novel. Though there are many e-book readers in the market, Pandigital Novel is one of those that get a lot of praise. So today I’d like to present a review about this good e-book reader.

It features a 7 inch, full-colored display, with the resolution of 800×600 pixel, weighing only one pound. It has all Web Browsers and access to Barnes & Noble’s online bookstore, in which you can download all the material that stores in the data. It runs Android system on an ARM 11 CPU, supporting WIFI wireless Networking. With its Micro SD card port, you can add its 1GB storage space up to 32GB. Despite it’s a e-book reader, it also supports photos, videos, audios , alarm clock and more. Its document supports PDF, HEML and EPUB, all of which makes it seems like a tablet computer. The battery life is excellent that can last up to six hrs.

The price was 200 dollars when it was first shipped out. If you haven’t tried to use WEB browsers on e-book reader, I strongly suggest you to own a Pandigital Novel. I believe PDN is capable to live in the e-Book market for a long time.

Following Apple and ASUS, Toshiba released announcement that customers could pre-order their Libretto W100 at Amazon. With other manufactures are focusing on slate tablet, Toshiba tends to have different ideas with them.

As a laptop, Libretto W100 has great configuration; as an E-Reader, design of Libretto W100 makes it convenient for scanning. Due to its 7 inch dual screen, W100 has 1024×600 of resolution, which makes the words are too small, not suitable for long time reading. Of course, the most significant design is the dual touch- screen. Despite the pre-installed keyboard, you can also use the virtual keyboard to type in words. It features Intel Pentium U5400 1.2GHz processor, only weighs 775g. Its one million pixel camera is enough for you to communicate with others through video. Also it adopts brilliant SSD3 storage device, superior to other laptops. Despite that, W100 performs not as well as other notebooks. Considering its 1000dollars price, W100 is not affordable for common people. And the amount of W100 is limited over the world.

Folks, if you have interest in it, you should think over your economic capacity before you buy it.

With the increasing of competition in E-Reader market, to gain more market and give press to the competitors, Sony is going to release two high quality E-Readers RS-350 and PRS-650.

For the summer holiday is ending soon, Sony releases these Readers mainly for the students. So the touch screen is made of Electronic Paper, the price will be very inexpensive. The shape and colors will also cater to students’ appetites. Comparing to their old products, these two E-Readers will be thinner and more powerful. According to Sony, the new Readers will below 10mm thick. In order to increase the reading speed, Sony also improve the Contrast of the screen and flip speed. PRS-350 features 5 inch touch screen and PRS-650 features 6 inch screen.

Since lots of customers complained that the Storage space is too small. Sony add the 512MB storage space to 2GB to solve the problem. To make the device unique, Sony make PRS-650 access to WIFI net -work, which make it possible for customers to use E-readers to surf Internet. Also it supports PDF, Word, ACS4 and Adobe Digital Edition, with a USB 2.0 port. The battery life and navigation will be similar to the former ones. But Sony claims that there will be bit change in interface.

There is no information about the exact price and releasing time. But I will follow the news and inform you as I get them, folks.
