When it comes to the Ultra Mobile Personal Computer, the first thing in my mind is the Pavilion DM1 UMPC and the Viliv N5 UMPC, both of which Iccellphone.com have reported early before.However, today, we are going to introduce you people another UMPC, the IdeaPad U160 from Lenovo.As a matter of fact, there are two models, a high-end model and a low-end model,and the price for these two are also available at this point, for the low-end machine, you can buy it at a price of $1,050, while the high-end machine costs $1,150.
Anyway, before any official purchase, you may want to know more about the specs of these two,okay, let’s just talk about the inside of these two Lenovo IdeaPad U160 Ultra Mobile Personal Computers.
The Low-end one features an i5-520UM CPU from Intel, remember what we talk about yesterday, the low-end one does not pack an core i7 processor, which makes us that this computer is just a middle product, anyway, let’s keep going, in other goodies, it comes up with a 320 GB of storage capacity solution, as well as a Windows 7 Operative system (Home Premium 32-bit version),these are the main things you can expect from the low-end IdeaPad U160,
Other not so important features like an optional DVD burner, a six-cell battery, and a 4G of DDR3 RAM memory;
However, if you budget is okay, and you like “ADVANCED” device, why not take a look at the high-end model.
Well the high-end machine comes up with a core i7-640UM ULV processor, not the i5-520UM CPU any more, and in terms of the hard drive solution, this one features a 500GB of hard-drive, it is much larger then the 320GB, which the low-end machine currectly owns, and also for the OS, the higher one, features a Windows 7 OS (Home Premium but 64-bit);
Other not so important features like an optional DVD burner, a six-cell battery, and a 4G of DDR3 RAM memory;
So, you now know all the nice feature of the Lenovo IdeaPad U160 UMPC, consider your budget, and pick up the right one for yourself.

You might remember the last time we reported the release of Lenovo’s L-series laptops, which should have been launched already. If you pay close attention to it, you should know that they are on sale recently.
Actually, there are some changes in Lenovo’s ThinkPad L Series. Now, we bring some differences into light. The ThinkPad L412 has substituted a Celeron P4500 for a 2.13 GHz Core i3-330. The memory of the L412 and the L512 are twice as much as before. I think the changes improve the whole function of it.
It has a good performance at the cost of only about $599. Does it touch your heart? Take an action immediately. Go ahead to buy it and take it home.

It is not any sercet that Palm has the financial problem, the company expected the launch of Palm Pre and Pixi could help them.But the real world is very cruel, the launch of Pixi and Pre did not change the red finance of the company.So, what should Palm do?
We have noticed that the Nokia was the first company which acquired Palm, but that did not have a fruit.And now we notice that the Lenovo is buying the Palm, as the world’s biggest PC maker. Lenovo has launched its first Android phone a while ago, the first Lenovo cell phone is the LePhone.So just image, if the company buys Palm, how strong the Lenovo could be.Anyway, let’s wait for more report on these two.
