Pantech Sky the Player PMP Runs on Google Android 2.1 OS

Several days ago, we have told you a new kind of PMP from Samsung which is powerful. And today we have got another PMP which is from Pantech. This is also a famous digital producer.

Actually this new Pantech Sky The Player Portable Media Player comes with the operative system of Android 2.1 from Google. As we all know, Android system has been the most popular system all over the world.

Actually this PMP comes with a dimension of 12x64x12mm. There are two colors available from this PMP, those are white and black, two classic colors. And now Pantech Sky the Player PMP has been available in South Korea. To be mentioned, there are price tags available released according to different capacity: 32GB for $325, 16GB for $250.

In terms of the features, Pantech Sky the Player PMP features a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen display which provides a WVGA resolution of 800×480 pixels. Besides the operative system for Google Android 2.1 OS we have mentioned before, it supports a 1080p Full HD video playback. To be mentioned, this laptop supports some video format with Mpeg4, WMV, H264, VC-1, Mpeg2, 3GP, DivX, Xvid, as well as audio formats with FLAC, AAC, OGG, AC3, WMA, WAV, MP3, and DTS. There is capacity storage with a storage space memory for 16GB or 32GB.

Other features include SRS CS Headphone, Micro SD slot, T-DMB tuner, Built-in Dictionary, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, USB 2.0 port, HDMI, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, as well as some technologies for MAX-V and WOW HD.

When I first saw the picture, I was thinking that is another Samsung Phone, later, when I get to the machine much closer, I figured out that it is another PMP – protable media player.As a matter of fact, what you see here, is the Samsung YP-MB2 PMP.Samsung has given a report on this machine early before.And now, we notice that the PMP will be officially released on 11th August.

The Samsung YP-MB2 portable media player is a touchscreen PMP, it runs on Google Android 2.1 OS, according from a guy behind Daum, Samsung believe that the YP-MB2 is a direct competitor of the Apple iPod Touch, it comes up with a very nice feature which some of PMP buyers would definitely pay attention to that is the 4″ Super AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixel.Other features like, a 1GHz processor, which is definitely a poweful processor for a PMP, GPS, Wifi, as well as support for different media files (both music files and movie files could be run on this PMP).

iRiver Presents E170 and E160 PMPs

When it comes to famous PMPs, we must talk about the famous manufacturer – iRiver. The company has launched two new models with the codename of E170 and E160 PMPs.And these two are able to be purchased in Japanese market or Korean market, the retail prices are close to $140.

The above two devices arms the lower end market, there are not much nice and special features, such as supporting games or wifi connectivity. However, on the other hand, it can samply play you the video and audio files, with is 2.4″ display screen at a resolution of 320 x 240.If you like these two pmps, you are able to store up to 4GB media files within them, that is a nice storage solution for PMPs.

What do you think about these two simple devices?Sometimes, I prefer to simple stuffs.

JXD is a China based gadgets manufacturer, if you still remember that we have reported the JXD V3 PMP,if you like playing media file when you are on a go,you can choose the V3 PMP from JXD.

Today,we are going to talk about another device from JXD,the Venus A30 tablet from JXD.

Before buying this one,we may probably want to know the inside of the device, the JXD tablet supports many media files,such as FLV,RM,MP4,VOB,MOV and FLAC among many others.There is a disadvantage with this device, the Venus A30 does not feature Wifi connection which I am pretty sure that most people need to use with a device like this.Other goodies like HDMI out, as well as supports for 768p videos.

Currently,there is no information on the price of the Venus A30 tablet from JXD.

There is a new portable media player on the market,this pmp is recently presented by iRiver.The codename of the device is N15,this pmp is very small,it only measures 26 x 55.5 x 13 mm, and it features a shiny black color.

The iRiver N15 can support up to 12 hours of music, and it supports most of the media files, such as the FLAC, APE, WAV, WMA and MP3.Presently,there are two version, the 4GB and 2GB edition.The device also comes with other not so important features like ear-phones,FM-radio, as well as voice recording.
