Back to several months ago, we have let you know the existence of Motorola i890 cell phone,however, we did not know that Sprint Nextel is going to pick up the phone at that point.

The next 4G network from Sprint is called as Wimax,the company has officially announced several new markets after previous announcement of five new Wimax market.The Wimax network will be available in the following cities: Washington DC,San Francisco,New York,Minneapolis,Houston,Kansas City,Denver, and Boston.Generally speaking,Sprint has 27 Wimax markets before,and the new fresh markets are nice addition for the company.
So far,we have no idea about how many Wimax markets will the Sprint have, considering that the company expects to have up to 120 million Wimax users later this year.Sprint will keep its steps.The Wimax from Sprint costs a $60 monthly fee and allows users to access to 4G/3G networks.

Since the Palm Pre may not that successful in the volume, we still can put our hope on the Palm Pixi phone. The Pixi is becoming neat on the internet with a black color scheme. Both the Sprint and the Palm says nothing on when the Pixi will be available in another color.
And today, an anonymous resource shows us a screenshot of Sprint database, you can check the image here, scanning the screenshot, we can find a pink Palm Pixi cell phone.
Is that true? Are the Palm and Sprint going to launch a pink Pixi phone? Anyway, since the CES is upcoming next week, we should know the confirmation very soon.

It is not the first time for people to complain AT&T’s service,and just now a report shows that AT&T ranks last in consumer satisfaction survey.If you ask some people who have brought the iPhone from AT&T,they will tell you how bad AT&T’s service could be.The survey was operated in 26 cities,and the AT&T was ranked last in the survey.Verizon wireless ranked No.1 which is followed by T-Mobile and Sprint on the third position.
The interesting part is that we are eager to know whether or not Apple will choose another carrier as its next generation iPhone’s official carrier in the USA.Will Apple choose Verizon wireless as the next iPhone carrier or just someone else?

We have reported that the Verizon is sued by AT&T,it seems that issue is not enough for the big red,in fact,Verizon wireless has launched another fight against Sprint.Apple says that its does not like Verizon wireless’s 3G maps ads,and then Verizon Wireless just says that the company dislike Sprint’s most dependable 3G network.As a matter of fact,Verizon Wireless wants Sprint remove its claim.
Verizon wireless complains to the National adevertising division of Sprint’s ad.According to Nielsen survey,Verizon’s network has been dropped fewer calls than Sprint.Verizon wireless has required Sprint to stop this ad,but Sprint responses that the Nielsen Survey did not show the whole story.
Can we expect a new trial between Sprint and Verizon?

Back to June,we highly expect that the Palm Pre smartphone could be one of the best competitor to Apple iPhone,however,five months passed since the officially release,we did not see the Palm Pre beat iPhone.
And today,the Pre has a new problem.Some Pre customers reported that they can not use the backup data well.They just are unable to restore the data from a backup.The company has noticed this issue and given a clear announcement as follows:
The company feels sorry for the issues,Palm has noticed that some customer are unable to transfer their backup data to another webOS device.In order to make customers transfer the data successfully to a new webOS device,Sprint and Palm are now working closely on the issues.

For HTC Hero smartphone owners,the Sprint has promised to give the Android 2.0 soon,however,for this time,the Android 2.0 OS is not available,the Sprint has released an OTA update.This new firmware has been officially announced,it is the 1.56.651.2 version,it is not the Android 2.0 Os but it do fix some bugs within the previous version.
If new software is now downloadable,the new version can slove the SMS issue which could cause the batter usage problem.And also brings a Daylight Saving Time fix.If you want to have this OTA update,just head to “System Update” on your HTC Hero and finish the update by yourself.
