Verizon Wireless claimed to the public that its mobile app store-V CAST Apps- is now available to the BlackBerry smartphones. And as far as we know, the BlackBerry Bold 9650, Storm2 9550, Curve 8530 and Tour 9630 are all included. And it is just a start because during the next two or three weeks, the service will be in use to more RIM-made devices such as the Storm 9530 and Curve 8330.
I don’t think that you will feel unfamiliar with the apps store, and V CAST Apps works no much differently from any other app store out there. It gives customers a one-click process to buy games and applications. Verizon’s trick is open-and-shut since it is in the direct billing, and you can have an idea on what you have paid for the apps through your monthly account. Thus you don’t have to worry about not knowing where you money has gone and will have distinct finance.
Verizon Wireless will try to enable all BlackBerry smartphones that use BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) to have its own link to V CAST Apps and that means you can find different icon which are relatively independent on various phones. But to business customers using BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), things will be a little bit troublesome, for they need to contact their business specialists and then get the information on how to download V CAST Apps.
Anyway, this is apps store is not perfect or suitable for everyone. And it also has the V CAST Apps BLOCK feature for consumers who do not have the willing to access to the apps in the storefront.

The rumor is going out that the Motorola Droid X will be out of stock when it is launched this Thursday and it made us really worried. We’ve heard that stockout is the result that the Android-powered handset is so excellent a device that many people are willing to get. However, Verizon has officially responded to the reports. And according to the carrier, there seems no need to worry again as he informed it would be ready for the launch. Verizon spokesperson Brenda Raney told CNN that all the delays are due to a combination of supply and popularity and they had done anything possible to make sure there would be enough phones for the customers. As long as we know, what the company has promised will be in the execution on July 15.
We are not the one to blame for worrying the Motorola Droid X will be in short supply on the launch day. Verizon has let down us as not being able to keep the Droid Incredible in supply, though they said it owed to the AMOLED supply issue.
Moreover, Verizon is giving people more chances to get Motorola’s latest Android handset. . If you have an upgrade available in 2010(anytime is fine), you can get the Droid X for the entry-level price of $199 (with rebate and new contract). And it also attracts people who had pre-ordered the Android-powered Incredible to stop waiting and buy Motorola Droid X instead.
It is out on Thursday, you won’t miss it!
