Since iPhone 3G updated its system to IOS 4, there were lots of complaints about the hardware and software performance issues. Customers complained that it slow down the Internet speed after they updating the system to IOS 4. Before updating, they can open at least 36 pages at the same time. But now it can’t. Also the updating brings the overheating and battery life problem. With the new system, it turns easily of the device to get hot. Few people complaint that the new system cut off the battery life.

When the problem came out, Apple explained that the problem is temporary because of the software transition. The iPhone 3G has a 412MHz processor versus and the 3GS has the 600MHz processor, with a paltry 128MB of RAM versus 256MB on the 3GS. The problem is also partly due to the processor difference, the new processor is not perfectly match the device. And Apple promised that they would solve the problems soon.

The problems are not solved since Apple has made the announcement. According to Apple CEO Steve Jobs’s sppech in July that there is also a problem with the iPhone 4 proximity sensor. The company is currently working on a software fix for the sensor and they are going to release the solutions to all the problems soon.
