According to foreign media reports, Apple’s next-generation mobile operating system iOS 4 has been available for download. Apple said that the system provides users with more than 100 new features for mobile application developers with a 1500 application program interface (API).

iOS 4 supports multi-task, the user will be able to switch before the application easily. Other features include folder management through the application of new e-mail features, enhanced applications on the photo and change the home page screen background wallpaper.

Currently iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, and the second and third-generation iPod Touch users can download iOS 4, and Apple’s latest iPhone 4 will also use the operating system. The first generation iPhone will not support iOS 4. While iPad users, they will need to wait until this fall to use the operating system. Apple has not yet given to iPad compatible iOS 4 schedules.

The major new update for the iPhone OS comes with numerous features include Bluetooth keyboard compatibility, as well as multitasking and so on.
