SkinDisplay: Print World On your Finger
Posted on 2011 by Julia under Uncategorized | No CommentDid you ever think of printing words on your fingers? You may feel hurt when the idea flashes over your mind, which even reminds
you of the Death by a Thousand Cuts, the notorious ancient Chinese torture method. Actually you can rest assured that the print on skin is the SkinDisplay concept from Vitamins Design which is designed to enable you to print messages directly on to your skin.
The concept has been backed up by an excellent engineers group, Research in Motion (RIM). It is the exact same group which design the BlackBerry smartphone, as well as the Royal College of Art’s Helen Hamlyn Center. To run in the frontier of technology with innovative ideas, the group has devoted to this project which many hard to be accepted by the mess currently. Besides that, the SkinDisplay also requires the physical support with the help of a phone which can see it translate digital code into small raised messages on the phone’s surface.
In case you ran out of paper in the emergency, with the SkinDisplay, you can press your finger against the raised message so that you can imprint needed message onto your skin on a temporary basis. From the picture in the right you can see the words are clearly printed on the finger. Doesn’t it beautiful? Of course, the whole process is painless. You do not have to worry about the potential danger it might being to you. Hopefully, a phone with such a interesting feature will come forth in the near future.
