Last week, we got to know a new wireless operator. According to the announcement in the United States, this new baby is called Republic Wireless, a technically virtual operator. What makes them so famous is one of their claims. They said that they will launch an unlimited everything plan, voice, texts, data are all included. And it will cost you just $19 per month on the basis that you have to use their specially customized devices. Republic Wireless has made their official launch today which discloses all the details about this plan behind the attractive price tag. Our long suspending curiosity has been
satisfied at last.

What you need to do to maintain an account with these people is to use less than 50 minutes, 150 text messages, and 300 megabytes of data per month. What’s more, you are not allowed to connect to WiFi, otherwise you will be thrown off their network. Also, you are attached to an LG Optimus, the only available of them at present despite the fact that they have made plans to offer the Samsung Galaxy S II. With this operator, you are required to prepaid the cost and have to spend a lot of money to buy the so called an unsubsidized device. And the cellular network that Republic Wireless uses is Sprint.

After having been informed all these details, is $19 per month as attractive as when you don’t know the truth? Apparently it is not so satisfying for those who are always busy. The worse news is the devices available even don’t work overseas. Added a little more money, you can better service by getting a SIM card from Simple Mobile, a T-Mobile MVNO or H2O Wireless with AT&T’s network. Simple Mobile will cost you $40 per month for really unlimited everything. You are allowed to use whatever device you want and when you are overseas such as Europe; all you need to do is popping in a local SIM card. It is perfect for devices like the Nexus S or oncoming Galaxy Nexus which use T-Mobile’s 3G bands. Compared with Simple Mobile, H2O Wireless costs more for $60 per month with unlimited voice, SMS, and 2 GB of data. For most people, it is
enough. If you want to get high speed data, you’d better go to use an Apple iPhone.

After a detailed comparison of these three operators, you know which will be most suitable for you? Our last advice is to choose wisely.
