As the technology giant, Samsung has achieved a lot with various new devices hitting the market within a few days. Thanks to the dedicated engineers of the company, it already has a wild coverage in the mobile world from smartphones and cameras to televisions and Blu-ray players. Though facing the furious competition with powerful products like iPad and XOOM, while effected by the delayed Android update scheduled, the Samsung Galaxy S has remained its position in the market.
Today we would like to share with you some information about the Galaxy Player. You may not familiar with the product since it hasn’t come to America, we have made you a list of its main features as follows for your reference:
– Google’s Android 2.2
– a 4-inch AMOLED display
– a 1GHz Hummingbird processor
Apart from that, it also has other attachments including front/rear facing cameras, WiFi and Bluetooth. The company has just announced today that the Galaxy Player has sold 20,000 units in just 10 days though it is only available in South Korea, a pretty amazing figure.
We believe that the success may benefit from the company’s decision. Since many customers are reluctant to pay extra monthly fee when getting down on the Galaxy S, the YP-GB1 Galaxy Player is designed especially for it is essentially the Galaxy S without the phone.
